love letters - epicure cafe!

I know most of my readership is elsewhere in the country, or even overseas, but I'd like to brag about a place at which my roommates and I are becoming "regulars," a wonderful, quirky little place called Epicure Cafe.
Epicure is the perfect place to sit back, relax, have a drink (or two) and chat with friends, catch up on local happenings, meet some cool new people, and take in some of the talent that Northern Virginia residents have to offer. Artist exhibits, open mic night, and comedy nights are weekly treats for us.

(I stole a few photos from their Facebook, I hope they don't mind)
The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and I've never entered without being greeted with a smile.

The food is amazing as well, a mix between classic American, Persian, and Greek inspired dishes. Wings, Gyros, Kabobs and the AWESOME pizzas, each creatively named and music-themed.
I recommend the "Smoke in your Pies" and "Bohemian Rhapsody"

The tea is one of my favorite drinks to get, and Brooke is a diehard for the cappuccinos.

Recently, Epicure had a little bit of drama associated with obtaining an entertainment license, but their efforts are not in vain. The fact that they can showcase such amazing local talent in such a great atmosphere makes Epicure a gem of a place. Other than the food and the friends, it's what keeps me coming back every week.

If you ever find yourself in Northern Virginia, give Epicure a visit.
You won't be sorry.
Thanks Epicure!
